In the fall of 1951 an amazing and moving arrangement conceived by Gen. MacArthur was put energetically. The US powers attacked at the port of Inchon close Seoul. This turned into the favored spot for MacArthur on account of its meager guards. Taking back Seoul, which is the capital of South Korea, would likewise be a major assurance boaster. The fruitful counter-assault pushed the North Koreans back over the fringe into North Korea. Right now the Chinese got to be included pushing the Americans back underneath the 38th parallel. The Americans later counter-assaulted pushing the Chinese back north of the 38th parallel. Meanwhile Gen. MacArthur was turning out to be all the more freely vocal about striking at the Chinese territory. He needed to bar its ports and include the Chinese Nationalist pioneer, General Chiang Kai-shek who had troops on the island of Taiwan. This did not charm MacArthur to Pres. Truman who saw some of MacArthurs remarks as rebellious. In April of 1951 Gen. MacArthur was supplanted by Gen. Ridgway.
