Gunfighters lived in the midst of viciousness

History Channel Documentary,

The life of a gunfighter in the Old West was an existence in survival mode. Any man who utilized a firearm to gain a living as a lawman, or just to pick up a notoriety and to be dreaded, took upon himself an awesome weight. He would always must be on the look for the following young fellow who was chasing him to detract his title from him - to slaughter him and case himself the victor in a gunfight, or in an unguarded minute.

Gunfighters lived in the midst of viciousness. Hardship and trepidation lay between times of relative peace, and the gunfighter could discover no significant serenity, nor underestimate anything or anybody. Around the following curve in the street may be a trap by a goal-oriented young fellow trying to make his own notoriety. In any cantina, unwinding with companions more than a bourbon and an inviting session of cards, passing could venture through the entryway or take up from behind at any minute.
